Diethylenetriamine

A collector that enhances flotation separation, for use in the collection of iron and other metals, and in certain types of ores including gold and pyrite. Also used as a concrete anti-shrinking agent which reduces surface tension and minimizes shrinkage/cracking as water evaporates from concrete. It is also a building block for asphalt modification additives and in the manufacture of imidazoline based corrosion inhibitors.
